|Exercise 4.3 Model Answer|
Create an argument map of the reasoning in this passage:
Hoax believers object to the claim that the Apollo astronauts landed on the Moon, on the grounds that the tyres of the Lunar Roving Vehicle would be likely to explode in the vacuum of space. However the tyres were not of the traditional inflated rubber variety. [Based on 8.5]
This passage, of course, overlaps (but is not the same as) the passage in the previous exercise.
Note that for this exercise you need not diagram hidden premises.
The reasoning in this passage is a rebuttal - an objection to an objection.
