Nicole Saunders

Nicole has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of New England, where she won the University Medal. Her areas of interest are moral philosophy, moral psychology and meta-ethics.

She has lectured and tutored for over five years at the University of Melbourne and Deakin University, working mainly with first year students. Her main aim with these students is to develop their ability to think philosophically and write essays that are strong in terms of philosophical argumentation: uncovering assumptions, supporting opinions with well thought out sets of reasons, anticipating objections, and devising replies to these. She continues this academic work in conjunction with her Austhink employment.

Nicole designs content for Austhink’s online teaching resources, and helps to run Rationale Educator PD Program workshops.
